Historical aspects of origin and development of corruption in Russia

The article examines the historical roots of corruption in Russia, forms of anti-corruption measures in the 15 th - 19 th centuries. The author considers the modern data concerned with the results of the activity on factfinding of corruption crimes in eleven economic regions of Russia. The reasons of corruption in public organizations and sports sphere are discussed. The paper also analyzes which categories of workers are the most liable to corruption.
