Historical roots of formation and integration of Tuvan People’s Republic with USSR

This article is devoted to the analysis of historical preconditions of the Tuvan People’s Republic voluntary entering the structure of the USSR in October, 1944. It has been revealed that the way of rapprochement of Tuva to Russia was long and difficult. However, all events connected with the formation of the Tuvan statehood and the development of the Republic, confirm that the historical choice of the people of Tuva reflected its objective interests and was made correctly.
