Historical landmarks land management faculty

The history of the development of land management faculty connected with the history of agrarian reforms in our country. Formation of land management education took place under the influence of socio-economic transformations in agriculture, at the head of which were listed land surveying work related to the organization and unit land area of collective and state farms, the issuance of land use rights, drafting organizational and economic plans. Development of geodetic education was due to the demands of socialist construction. Accounting, identification and utilization of natural resources of the country, the design and construction of large industrial facilities, reconstruction of agriculture, strengthening the country's defense capability - all required modern geodetic data, topographic and special maps of varying accuracy and purpose, and therefore specialists in the field of geodesy and land management. This work aims to study the history of the development of land management education in Siberia, but also shows the current state of land management department of the Omsk State Agrarian University and its activities to prepare highly qualified specialists in demand in many industries.
