The historical aspect of the development of the domestic criminal legislation about responsibility for abuse of power

The article is devoted to the main directions of development of the criminal law on responsibility for abuse of office. The author describes the chronology of the development of law, compares the normative material of the historical law with the modern legislation, and analyzes the retrospective in relation to criminal liability for abuse of authority by officials.
