Historical experience of development and activity of the national sea rescue service of Russia’s Far East Sea basin (1991-2014): analysis of research sources

This article deals with the historical records as sources for the study of activities and development of the National Sea Rescue Service in the Far East of Russia in 1991-2014. The author describes in general the published documents and materials introduced into scientific use for the first time. The comprehensive review of wide range of sources gives a chance to study the historical experience of the Far East sea rescuers.
