Historical consciousness of students

Theoretical realization of the historical consciousness, its function, attitude to the past of our society, its understanding, historical evolution and interdependence of the past, present and future as well as the conceptual and categorical, scientific and unscientific approach to the analysis of history are considered in the article. The author demonstrates that the attitude of students to the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 is the characteristic of their historical consciousness maturity. The author shows the interpretation of Great Patriotic War events by students and defined the typology of their historical consciousness.
