The history of the separate Buryat-Mongolian cavalry brigade awarded by red banner

The article considers the period of the development of military capability and military policy of the young Soviet state, in which the development of national armed forces played an important role. The Buryat-Mongolian cavalry brigade became an example of such development in the 1920s -1930s. In its turn, this contributed to inter-ethnic communication and making of a single linguistic and cultural space of the USSR and also laid the foundations for friendship of the peoples of the Soviet Union.
