History and evolution of accounting automation

This article examines the history and evolution of accounting automation and its impact on the accounting profession and business processes. The research methods include literature review, historical method, comparative analysis and data analysis. The results show that the development of technology has transformed accounting by increasing its accuracy, efficiency and functionality.
