This article represents the history of studying language landscape issues in the Turkic-Mongolian context. The focus is on analyzing the interaction of languages and cultures in this region and their impact on shaping the identity of its peoples. The study references language landscape research conducted in the cities of Kyzyl (Republic of Tuva), Ulan-Ude (Republic of Buryatia), and Yakutsk (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)), identifying key trends and patterns in language development and determining factors that influence their status and functioning. This analysis enables the development of effective strategies to support minority languages, preserve cultural diversity, and strengthen intercultural dialogue. The article will be of interest to linguists, sociologists, cultural studies scholars, and anyone interested in language landscape issues and their influence on the development of languages and cultures.
