The history of the New Plymouth colony in the Anglo-American historiography

This article analyzes the trends of the Anglo-American history studies concerned with one of the first British colonies in the North America - New Plymouth. The paper deals with the main evolution stages of the Anglo-American historiography from the late 19 th to the early 21 st centuries. The authors show the transformation of the Anglo-American historiography from the political history to the socio-cultural history by case study of the New Plymouth colony.
