An introductory article that precedes the publication in the journal of a paper by the Social Democrat, the first editor of the newspaper Krasnoyarskij Rabochij M.L. Kheisin Towards the December Days, dedicated to the history of the Krasnoyarsk Republic in December 1905. The article by M.L. Kheisin was published under the pseudonym Glumov in the spring of 1906 in the legal Social Democratic journal Otkliki sovremennosti (Echoes of modern times), which was published in St. Petersburg. It became the first scientific and journalistic study of the events of the first Russian revolution in Krasnoyarsk. However, it did not enter into historiographic scientific circulation, since it was published under a pseudonym unknown to the scientific community. The authorship of the article, as shown in the study, was undeservedly attributed to another prominent Siberian Social Democrat V.A. Gutovsky. An archival document is published in the appendix to the study, testifying that it was M.L. Kheisin who wrote the article Towards December Days and accordingly laid the foundation for the historiography of the Krasnoyarsk Republic of 1905.
