The story of one project (on the unrealized project of the building of the Library of the Communist Academy)

The article describes the fate of the new building project for the Library of the Communist Academy (1918-1936) in the context of the general urban planning policy of Moscow during the period of the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. It is noted that the project was drawn up taking into account the specifics of the activities of the Library as an auxiliary institution under the Communist Academy - one of the Marxist-Leninist research institutions. Particular attention is paid to the circumstances that prevented the implementation of this project.
