History of the Upper Amur river region’s toponyms development: stages of cultural and economic settlement in geographic names

The formation of the toponymic portrait of the Upper Amur River region from the perspective of the history of the region development is a little-studied aspect of researches of interaction between cultural and geographic spaces of the regions with latest settlement. The article deals with development stages of the Western Far East of Russia’s toponyms with citing unique examples of the place names.
