The history of Russian sociology of progress as an object of theoretical understanding (defining the problem)

The article proves the necessity for theoretical understanding of the historical experience in discussing the problems of progress in Russian sociology of XIX - early XX centuries. It is required to generalize the extensive historical and sociological factual material and identify the main trends for deepening the ideas about the development of Russian sociology. The author considers the probable content of the theoretical systematization of the discussion about problems of progress in dynamics.
