The history of Russia and the western myths about Russian civilization

This article studies formation and development of the Russian ethnos. The author dispels the myth that the civilizational development of Russia and its statehood was dependent from the European world. It is deduced that the culture and civilization of Slavic peoples have their own unique millennial history of development, and their revival would help to overcome the crisis.
