The history of the formation of the Abaza folk culture institutions of the 20th century: trends, specific and numerical dynamics

The article is devoted to the study of the historical stages of the formation and development of the institutions of Abazin folk culture in the 20th century. The purpose of the study is to identify the formation of creative amateur groups of Abazin folk culture in the Soviet period of Russian history. The study is based on archival materials of the State Archives of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. The article shows the directions of Abazin folk culture that were more developed in the pre-war and post-war periods. The characteristics of the organizational activities of party bodies in the formation of folk culture groups are given. The study is based on information and document management methods based on the principles of historicism and objectivity in historical knowledge. Work with documents included the study, systematization of information, generalization and compilation of tables representing the trends in the institutionalization of Abazin folk culture. The study showed objective processes of professionalization of amateur folk groups in the second half of the 20th century. Continuation of the study involves studying the current state of the KCR folk culture groups, both amateur and professionally engaged in Abazin folk choreography.
