Historical and geographical approaches to the problem of traditional environmental management of ethnoses of the Baikal Siberia

The basic condition of any ethnic group’s life support is the character of nature management, which closely associates it with a specific geographical landscape. On the example of the local ethnic communities in Baikal Siberia living in the Republic of Buryatia, the authors examine the dynamics of species preservation of traditional environmental management of ethnic groups of Asian Russia.
