Historical and cultural heritage of the Lower Volga

The article deals with the historical and geographical peculiarities of the Leninskiy district of the Volgograd region as the factors of the tourism appeal of its territory. There is given a detailed evaluation of the objects of the historical-cultural and natural heritage of the Leninskiy district. There are firstly evaluated some objects of the architectural and archaeological orientations as the potentialities for the development of the new tourist destinations in the Leninskiy district.
