Historical and cultural landscape as a basis for the complex analysis of the material and cultural heritage of a multiethnic region

The article dwells upon the capabilities of the modular approach to the cultural heritage preservation in a multiethnic region. The modular approach enables the presentation of the historical and cultural landscape of a city as a certain cultural integrity consisting of separate discrete formations which reflect not only the real state of the material and cultural heritage monuments, but also the possibilities of their virtual reconstruction.
