The development of shooting training of the soldiers in the Russian army in the 16th - the beginning of the 20th centuries: historical and pedagogical analysis

The article is devoted to the formation of small arms in Russia in 16th - the beginning of the 20th centuries. The authors consider the phases of the development of the firearms and the improvement of the training of soldiers of the Russian army for the shooting because of the need to use small arms for the effective fighting to protect the borders of the Motherland. The main forms and methods of training of soldiers, existed in the Russian army are described.
