Historiosophical component of journalism: searching the lost imperatives

Journalism is regarded as the most important factor of society’s spiritual development. It is about its genesis, the conditions of formation and role in the lives of people. At its best manifestations journalism regained identity in the system of Christian values, for its normal development it requires the corresponding historiosofic component, reflected in the interpretation of the events of the past through the prism of modernity, lifting the journalistic content of the material to the level of discourse, as especially the updated text. The author attempts to identify the causes of the crisis, which was plunged into modern Russian journalism.
