Results and prospects of Gymnospermae collections in botanical gardens of Russia. Checklist of taxa

In this paper we present checklist of Gymnospermae, which provides information on the representation of taxa in the collections of botanical gardens in Russia (BG) according to the information-analytical system «Botanical collections of Russia».; This database include information on the 67 collections of open ground, and 24 collections in greenhouses in 69 BG. Full checklist include 1328 taxa of gymnosperms, with data on the distribution for 1301 taxon. 27 taxa are of hybrid origin and are found only in culture, or habitats ofthese taxa are unknown. Only 417 (31.4%) of taxa represented in the BG in Russia. The list shows the values of the parameters of hardiness zones and zones of plant resistance to frost-free period for the taxa, cultivated in Russia in the open field.
