Results introduction wood-bushes plants in Mardakan arboretum

In Mardakan arboretum NAS of Azerbaijan it is collected over 450 kinds and many forms wood and bushes plants species which concern 83 families, to 165 sorts. Plants in collection fund are divided on two groups: coniferous (10 families, 14 sorts, 68 kinds) and deciduous (74 families, 150 sorts, 382 kinds). Coniferous make 13,5 %, Deciduous 86,5 % from a general view. The largest family on number of kinds is Rosaceae, Fabaceae, Cupressaceae, Caesalpiniaceae, Anacardiaceae, Moraceae, Oleaceae. Plants in collections of the Mardakan arboretum under vital forms are divided on 3 groups: trees (180 kinds, 43 %), bushes (240 kinds, 50,4 %) and lianas (30 kinds, 6,6 %). The ecology-geographical analysis introdusents has shown, that in dendrary is occupied a special place the plants from flora European and Asia (182 kinds, 40,5 % and 153 kinds, 34 %). In Mardakan arboretum from flora of Australia 15 kinds (3,3 % from a general view), and from flora of Africa - 14 kinds (3,1 %) are grown up. It have been introducted more than 86 kinds (19,1 %) trees and bushes from flora of America, concerning 18 families and 26 sorts. More than 70 % of kinds introducted wood-bushes plants normally blossom and fructify, give viable seeds and are the basic of a genofund our cultural dendrofloras. All it testifies that the majority of kinds of trees and bushes, introduction from different floristic areas of globe, has well adapted in local conditions.
