International scientific and technical conference “Shlifabraziv-2011” follow-up

The highlights of the joint scientific and technical conference “Shlifabraziv-2011” and “Vibration application for technological purposes (Vibration technologies)”, where a wide-ranging exchange of experience and information on the state and development prospects of the abrasive treatment technology, abrasive materials and tools production and operation has been held, are considered. The research experience and recommendations reflecting the upcoming trends for future studies to provide the breakthrough in the abrasive treatment technology, abrasive tools development and operation, effectivization of the Russian machine-building complex, are analyzed.
