In a shadow of fortress walls (the results of excavations of the historic center of Tara in 2016)

The article is devoted to results of 2016 archaeological researches in a cautious part of the historic center of Tara. During excavation the territory the cautious part of the town has been explored which directly adjoined to the fortress wall. For the first time for all years of excavation it was succeeded to record, practically in not disturbed view, the burned-down log hut of the 17th century that has allowed to recreate internal planigraphy of the dwelling and household implements of its inhabitants. In addition, there were investigated two huts of XVIII centuries - in one of which is preserved “furniture” - benches and tables of hewn semi-logs and base of mud oven. During excavations it was succeeded to enter the fortress tower (most likely, Tobolsk) and a powder keg under it, and the next year it will become the main object of researches. During excavation very representative material on history of town, economic occupations of inhabitants, their life and spiritual culture was received.
