From the report on the activities of the North Caucasus regional control commission of the CPSU(b) for the period from 26.05.1924 to 01.10.1925

The article is devoted to the activities of the North Caucasus Regional Control Commission - the Workers' and Peasants' Inspection (KK-RKI) and its temporary structures, the inspection committees (inspectorate committees) and inspection troikas (inspectorate committees) authorized by it, in the process of carrying out large-scale purges and inspections of the region's party organizations in non-production organizations, institutions, enterprises, rural party cells, etc. (but not in party organizations of industrial enterprises), brief results of the inspection carried out and conclusions drawn up based on them. The main purpose of the article is to study the degree of effectiveness of the party control of the USSR in the implementation of its internal party functions. The article is based on the report of the North Caucasus Regional Control Commission - Workers' and Peasants' Inspectorate, for a year and a half of work, from 26.05.1924 to 01.10.1925, during the first period of activity of the joint body of party-state control. The basis of the activities of this period was a large-scale inspection of non-production urban and rural district party cells of the RCP(b) in all districts and national autonomies that were part of the North Caucasus Territory. The inspection showed an objective picture of the state of the party organization in the region as a whole at the time of the inspection, and the real extent to which party organizations were implementing the measures planned by the party and government bodies.
