Several international humanitarian organizations led a massive relief campaign in Russia during the famine of 1921-1923. The article deals with the relief aid, provided by the International Save the Children Union (L’Union Internationale de Secours aux Enfants), to the starving population of the Volga region, one of the most affected by the disaster.
