Electoral process in the post-reform peasant community of Kursk province

The article deals with process of the civil servant election to the peasant public administration, which was carried out by the village and district gatherings in Kursk province during the post-reform period. The case study allowed the author to reveal the main tendencies and contradictions of its development.
