The author tells about his work (as a translator and deputy editor-in-chief) on the publication of Bakhtin's collected works. It outlines the prospects for the development of Bakhtin studies in China (as part of literary studies, philosophy, cultural studies, etc.). It analyzes the main problems the interpreters encounter when working with Bakhtin's terminology and provides a scientific justification for the editorial corrections made by the author of this article in their translations.
