The article is dedicated to the topical issues relating to an author’s brand formation. Foreign publishing projects are investigated, with publishers’ interpretation of the writings made by British authors discussed. The Kazakhstan book publishing industry, which is now actively developing the new publishing policy in the promotion and advertising sphere, is particularly interested in learning the international author’s brand creation practices.
