Seed germination variability depending on the variety and environmental conditions

The article presents the results of studying the formation of the indicator "seed germination" in 6 varieties of spring soft wheat of different ripeness groups in different environmental conditions. The research was conducted in 2014-2017 in three ecologically different zones of the Altai Territory: Priobskaya (Barnaul), Prialtaiskaya (Krasnoshchekovo), and Prisalairskaya (Kytmanovo). The conducted studies have shown that the value of seed germination in the groups of medium-early and medium-ripe varieties depends more on the variety and the interaction of environmental conditions, and in the group of medium-late varieties - on the weather conditions of the growing environment.
