Change of the geopolitical stands of the regional and out-of-region parties at the Caucasus in consequence of the events of 2008

The article deals with interests of the global parties in the Caucasus and changes in their foreign policy in consequence of the events of the August 2008. The undertaken research shows that on the current stage of the international relations the Caucasus region is the main geostrategic point for realization of the external political and economic goals of the many world powers.
