Here results of researches of pollutants in the air, revealed excess of SO 2 and dust. As the concentration of SO 2 and dust in the atmosphere increases the amount ascorbic acid in the leaves, reduced morphological indicators of Populus balsamifera L. and Populus sowjetica pyramidalis Jabl.
