The author describes modern processes happening in the global economy. In the article the terms such as ‘wikinomics’ and ‘crowdsourcing ’ are being revealed with an analyses of connection between the development of information technology and changing of the nature of the competitiveness. Apart from that, the article examines the examples of successful international practices in the process of implementation of new business models.
