The article presents the data of its own research, whose goal was to study the dynamics of the levels of pro-and anti-inflammatory cytokines in the saliva of patients with generalized periodontitis in conjunction with the metabolic syndrome on a background of complex treatment with drugs that increase insulin sensitivity.
