Hematological indices of the blood of sterlet individuals (Acipenserruthenus) are described, when they are grown in conditions of closed water supply. It turned out that the fish were characterized by a higher content of hemoglobin in the blood - 113 g / l. With elevated hemoglobin, the total number of erythrocytes decreased. When studying the picture of red blood, minor disturbances in the morphology of the cells were noted. The total number of leukocytes turned out to be half the data given in the literature. White blood was lymphoid in nature, the number of lymphocytes was 83%. A greater number of stab neutrophils (11%) in fish was noted, which indicates a higher phagocytic activity. In small quantities (6%) there were also stabnuclear eosinophils
