Changes in the oral mucosa in patients with COVID-19

COVID-19 is a virus that causes multiple lesions. One of the first areas of tissue in contact with the virus is the oral cavity, in which various changes develop. Therefore, the aim of this scientific article is to determine the main signs and symptoms of this disease in the oral cavity in 45 patients who had previously had COVID-19. The data obtained from the examination of patients with COVID-19 substantiate the need and expediency of including a dental examination in this category of patients after their clinical recovery.
