The aim of the research was to study the changes in the functional state (FS) in connection with the asymmetry of cerebral blood flow (CBF) on the background of performing physical activities (FA), as well as an assessment of the impact of compositions of essential oils (CEO) on FS. CBF was assessed by rheoencephalography (REG), two groups were singled out according to the nature of the hemispheres circulation - with the dominance of the right-hand and left-hand blood flow. FA were performed at the level of individual PWC170 value. The main part of the research was conducted in a group of athletes with the predominance of the left-hand hemisphere CBF. The condition of the central nervous system and locomotor apparatus was determined by motor reaction indicators and dynamic tremor data before and after FA. The accuracy of motor action (AMA) was evaluated by hitting the target in darts. To affect the FS parameters the CEO with preferred odor were used, which were specially designed to suit the indi vidual characteristics of the research subjects, on the basis of existing theoretical and practical prerequisites. The private typology of CBF (after I.B. Isupov) was determined by the REG amplitude value (FM derivation, carotid artery system). The increase in REG amplitude and CBF asymmetry reduce were registered after the FA up to failure. In the case of post-FA moderate CBF asymmetry reduce the AMA index decreased, after 10 min. recovery the degree of recovery was insignificant. The maximum reduction of CBF asymmetries was accompanied by the greatest AMA decrease. The olfactory CEO based impact increased the recovery speed of hemodynamic and motor FS indicators. The role and possible mechanisms of occurring changes in CBF asymmetry is discussed.
