During 2024, the legislator introduced a number of amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation (hereinafter - the Labor Code of the Russian Federation), which will directly affect the work of an accountant when making settlements with employees on wages. Certain norms of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation have already begun to take effect in the current 2024 year. The authors draw attention to the amendments to Article 152 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation on overtime pay. The article considers the list of payments to be included in the base for calculating overtime from 09/01/2024. These practical recommendations will help to avoid mistakes when calculating wages to an employee of the company, and prevent labor disputes.
