The relevance of the study of the topic of the food industry lies in the fact that this industry is of particular importance, since it not only meets the needs of the population, but also reflects the standard of living. Food production is carried out by a large number of small and medium-sized producers, which greatly complicates control. In addition to these typical aspects of food production, there are several trends and factors that also increase the need for appropriate quality management. To solve these problems, modern legislative and regulatory frameworks are needed.
