The innovations created by teachers, teaching communities and schools in their daily practice play a key role in improving the quality and effectiveness of education. As with other knowledge-based professions, creativity and innovation are essential skills for teachers and teaching communities to work effectively. The growing importance of innovation and innovation in education raises the question of how to measure innovation in this sector and how decision-makers can use innovation data.
