Temperature measurement of objects with unknown emissivity using a technique of spectral pyrometry

Бесплатный доступ

A technique of temperature measurement based on the recording of a thermal emission spectrum of the object under study using CCD-spectrometer is discussed. Similarity of recorded spectrum and black-body spectrum is examined. If these spectra are similar, the temperature is determined as a parameter of the observed distribution, without recource to object's emissivity. Emission spectra have been registered experimentally and temperatures have been determined for erosion plasma of microwave discharge on inhomogeneous solid surface and alundum tube heated in a plasma torch.
