Chinese poster is an independent cultural phenomenon, which is a symbiosis of borrowed artistic forms and patterns of Soviet propaganda with local traditions of fine art, mentality and socio-political realities. At the same time, the poster of the PRC in its style and content quite differ depending on the historical period. The direct subject of the study is the Dating and description of the objects of the private collection of Chinese posters (10 units), received in the collection of the Perm state art gallery. For the analysis of campaign posters we used content analysis and formal stylistic analysis. We used posters from the «Chinese posters» catalog as samples for comparison.
