Due to the fact that lymphatic glands and implanted metastases suffered with cancer were not deleted while surgery of locally advanced pelvic cancer, one third of after surgery patients has local cancer relapse. As a result, they need repeated surgery. Isolated regional pelvic perfusion reinforces and consolidates antitumor results of surgery. To test regional isolated pelvic perfusion on laboratory animals and estimate possibility and safety of this method. Experimental part of work was performed at 7 pigs weighted 25-35 kg. An experimental model was made to study isolated regional pelvic perfusion. Functional and clinical changes in animal body were investigated during the experiment and 3 days after it was finished. All animals underwent isolated regional pelvic perfusion satisfactorily, without complications during and after operation. Integral indications of heart rate, arterial blood pressure, breathing rate and before, during experiment, and after 24 hours were not changed essentially. Isolated intraoperational hyperthermic regional pelvic perfusion is a reproducible and relatively safe method of local advanced malignant pelvic cancer treatment.
