The oxygen and carbon isotopic composition of the magmatic and sedimentary carbonate rocks (Middle Timan)

The results of isotopic-geochemical studies of igneous rocks of Chetlassky complex (carbonatites, picrites, lamprophyre) and sedimentary carbonate (dolomite and limestone) rocks of Middle Timan Chetlassky Bystrinskaya series have been summarized. It was concluded that alkaline picrites and associated carbonatites were, firstly, on the mantle source material entities, and secondly, magmatic and partly postmagmatic (hydrothermal) products from single mantle source. Comparative study of clastic sedimentary rocks enclosing magmatites of Chetlassky complex showed that the formation of carbonatites were not accompanied by a significant assimilation of exogenous substances.
