Studying of distribution areas of species of catnip genus (Nepeta L) in Azerbaijan, their morpho-biological features and estheroils

Article is devoted to morpho-biological research of species of different section of Catnip genus (Nepeta L.) of Lamiaceae Family of Azerbaijan flora and their etheroil percentage. Characteristic places of their distribution in Nakhichevan AR, Guba Massive of Great Caucasus and in Talish, also possibility of their practical use on the basis of the spent researches have been shown. For the first time phenological supervision in culture and partially in the nature are spent. Morphogenesis of species of various Catnip sections at cultivation is studies and their introduction perspectives on Apsherone are revealed. Components of esther oils of 4 wild-growing species of catnip - N. Grossheimi, N.zangezura, N.trautvetteri, N.velutina are studied for the first time.
