The study of the wild rose (Rosa acicularis) populations in the Middle Lena basin

On the territory of Khangalassky district in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) the morphology, biology, ecology, variability of wild rose (Rosa acicularis) are studied. In the studied area the most common is one form of the life state - epigene-geoxyle shrub. It is established that under the canopy of the dark coniferous forests, with high crown density the wild rose population number reduces, the plant size and the number of flowering and fruit-bearing shoots decreases.
