The study of the far eastern theater of military actions on the eve of and during the First World War of 1914-1918

The article is devoted little-explored problem - the study of the Far Eastern theater of operations before and during the First World War 1914-1918. One of the main reasons for the defeat of Russia in the war against Japan, 1904-1905, was poorly studied that region. In subsequent years, the Russian Defense Ministry has paid considerable attention to the direction of Far East.
