Studying of a history of family and its value for modern youth

In article the problem of revival of genealogical traditions and attraction of modern youth to studying the roots is examined. Structural features and related structure of the Buryat family in the past are allocated. There are cited facts the own research directed on studying of youth's awareness about ancestors and a history of the family with use of genegram method.
