Experimental work of many scientists on the study of growth regulators on vegetable crops has proved that growth regulators significantly increase the yield of vegetables. Given that stimulants have a number of advantages: non-toxicity, low concentrations of use, this is important when cultivating sweet pepper. The article presents the results of long-term research (2017-2019) on the influence of growth stimulants on disease resistance, productivity and quality of sweet pepper hybrids of Porteka and Flamingo hybrids in the north-western zone of the Rostov Region, in order to reduce the frequency of crop treatments with chemical fungicides during the growing season, as well as the economical use of additional irrigation water. An increase was observed in the yield in options with the use of growth stimulants, especially with the use of Phytosporin-M. On average, this compound provided a 78.8% increase in hybrids, which is 3.35 times higher than the increase shown by the compound Narcissus. On average, with the application of compunds the hybrid Flamingo is superior to Parteka as regards yield by 8.2 t/ha. The studied compounds increase the marketability indicators by 6.2-9.3% depending on the option. The increase in marketability indicators was mainly due to a decrease in the degree of damage to plants and fruits by major diseases, since the compounds used as non-root application have additional fungicidal properties. Both the Porteka hybrid and the Flamingo hybrid have a water consumption coefficient significantly lower than the control sample which reaches its minimum in the variant with Phytosporin, where the considered indicator is lower than the control one by 35.8/37.0 m3/t (Flamingo /Porteka). Thus, due to the use of growth stimulants, the productivity and resistance of sweet pepper plants to diseases increases, quality indicators and water use efficiency improve.
